On July 10, 2023, Masaya Toji and I conducted a visit to Abe Tosou Company Limited in Tokyo, Japan, with the purpose of assessing the quality of the initial batch painting. A total of 10 pieces for each of OLJ Hood Type 1, Type, 2, Type 3, and Type 5, underwent a meticulous hand-painting process. This involved applying a primer as the first layer, followed by a second layer of glossy black paint, culminating in an oven-baking procedure. This technology results in a robust and durable paint finish, guaranteeing optimal performance on the final coat. Additionally, it creates a dust-free environment, further enhancing the overall quality of the process.
